Boxbot provides supply chain automation for the logistics industry with a parcel storage system. This buffer system is coupled with a real-time optimized routing system to allow for rapid package handling for last mile delivery.

Tom provided turn-key hardware design for a central controller PCBA that could be shared between three core control pillars — conveyance, vehicle function and robotics control. This involved complete system architecture, schematic capture, PCBA layout, contract manufacturer management and extensive hardware bringup across two hardware revisions.

Close integration with the Boxbot firmware team and frequenct onsite visits allowed for swift bringup and a fast revsion cycle. Tom also provided guidance on next-generation hardware architecture and potential integration challenges.
